Personal information, kept narrow

ExpertConnectBC is designed for British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This page is a product notice, not a substitute for a formal opinion once you incorporate.

We collect account data (name, email, role), professional credentials, optional LSBC bar numbers, RFP content you choose to submit, and messages on those RFPs. Matter facts are visible to the instructing lawyer, invited experts who have cleared the NDA gate, and admins acting on a support or abuse request.

We do not sell contact lists. We do not use matter facts for advertising. Public directory pages show only verified professional information an expert chose to publish.

Hosting is expected on Vercel with Supabase in Canada or a region you select at project create time. Configure the project region before production cutover if Canadian residency is required for your risk posture.
